About CultureClinix

CultureClinix was founded from a simple but urgent reality; therapy loses its depth when culture is overlooked and becomes more effective when it is truly understood. We support mental health professionals working within the complexity of culture, identity, and lived experience, where culturally responsive evidence-based tools often fall short.

Born from frontline clinical work and lived experience, CultureClinix is part of Ultimate Counselling, a multi-ethnic mental health service delivering culturally responsive therapy across London for over a decade. This foundation brings together community insight, clinical rigour, and a deep understanding of the realities faced by diverse and Global Majority communities.

Therapists are increasingly expected to hold complex cultural, identify and lived  experiences, yet are often left without the tools to do so effectively. CultureClinix addresses this gap through ready-to-use psychoeducation, session guides, and client worksheets that integrate culture and identity into clinical practice without compromising therapeutic standards.

Designed by therapists for therapists, the platform strengthens clarity, saves time, and supports care that is both meaningful and relevant. It encourages reflective, ethical practice and helps mental health professionals to move beyond uncertainty while meeting clients in the fullness of their lived experience.

At its core, CultureClinix stands for cultural integrity, clarity and evidence-based practice in mental health.

Founded by Sarah Kasule, a psychological therapist and specialist in cultural competence, the work is shaped by extensive research, over a decade of clinical and training experience, and personal experience of therapy based solely on western culture. Her work advances cultural competence in mental health, ensuring the person is not left out of therapy.
